NEW! Jockey Hollow Ntl. Park Hike - Where America Survived

Experience a step back in time to 250 years ago into the life of a soldier at Jockey Hollow Park. These grounds are the site that commemorates General Washington and the Continental Army's winter encampment from December 1779 to June 1780, where soldiers survived the coldest winter on record. Additionally, we will head to Ford Mansion, which served as Washington's Headquarters, and join a guided tour of the building. Be prepared to be outside on hiking trails. Bring water, a daypack, hiking poles, and boots.

Rating: Easy/moderate pace and terrain (pending trail conditions), slight ascents/descents, rocky, snow, icy, wooded. Miles:4+
