NEW! Art of the Sea: Sharks, Skates, and Rays

The beautiful diversity of shapes, forms, and colors that render life from the sea have long enamored both scientist and artist. In this session, we will journey into a fun and informative discussion and walk led by a park naturalist about the native sharks, skates, and rays of our mid-Atlantic local shores and their ecological roles. The instructor will show participants how to achieve accurate proportion and shape, understanding color basics, and creating dimension.
***Please note this class meets rain or shine. Walk portion may be moved to indoor lecture component if weather conditions are poor. Supply list and directions will be emailed 2 weeks in advance of the class start date.
